We just observed the warmest night on record. Temperatures did not drop below 26.2°C (79.2°F) and then daytime temperatures went on to equal the all-time (any month) heat record for the Spanish capital with 40.7°C (105.3°F). pic.twitter.com/2AYueQGdra
