Well with every caught fish the past 100 years 200 mg of phosphor disappeared into another phosphor-cycle. The most phosphor is used for fertilizer, food, oil etc……….stays on land. When excreted, the wastewater treatment plants hold back the phosphates in their sludge with or without de-phosphatation . So this important nutrient is too less in the marine environment. The biggest Carbon cycle takes place in the oceans 30 fold in compare to the land-cycle. De phytoplankton and zooplankton disappears from the marine environment. Besides that, phosphor is limiting growth factor for all living creatures. My suggestion is to refertilize the oceans and rivers to get back the phytoplankton for photosynthesis. Only in this way we reduce CO2, get back life, and cool the water because photosynthesis is an endothermic reaction. The way I suggest how to fertilize is, first to respect the Redfield Ratio C-N-P 105-16-1. Second is to cut the costs for phosphor, increase the effluent margins and discharge and steer them also to the Redford Ratio. Third, chicken manure or turkey manure are good sources for phosphor. Let ships on their shipping routes do that job under satellite guidance. stef Lien à poster Partager sur d’autres sites
