Kickstarter présente un projet de station météo d’une société spécialiste d’instruments météo et établie, Weatherfow. Ça ressemble bien à ce qu’une station Davis moderne pourrait être :
- anémomètre ultrason (3s)
- pluviomètre par comptage/contact
- thermo/hygro/baro
- capteur Uv / ensoleillement
- design intégré avec panneaux solaires
- détecteur d’éclairs
- connexion sans fil en natif à internet via un hub
- récupération des données en local ou via internet et/ou sur appli mobile
- compatible ifttt, assistants vocaux, ...
- à peine plus de 200€
- ...
Ça a l’air (trop ?) beau mais sérieux. Qu’en pensez-vous ?

We think highly of the Davis productse, they make very good equipment. The Tempest will match sensor performance with Davis on all accounts and beat it in a number of ways:
1) Sonic anemometer is far superior at measuring winds,
2) our haptic sensor is able to measure rain in a lot more detail including alerts at first drops, instantaneous rain intensity (its raining cats and dogs!), exact number of minutes of rain in each day -- all things a tipping bucket style gauge cannot do,
3) more accurate temp as we analyze solar radiation, wind, and temp in real-time and apply mathematical formula to correct for the sun’s influence on the device,
4) the communications infrastructure is included in the Tempest system as opposed to having to buy the WeatherLink from Davis,
5) WeatherFlow has a full forecast modeling team that uses data from your Tempest in AI-powered technology to dramatically improve accuracy at your exact location,
6) WeatherFlow is a founding member of the National Mesonet Program which provides a path for users to opt-in to share data with emergency responders, scientists, the NWS, etc and we offer a Data Dividend program to station owners.
7) No wires !!
😎 Way more 'sexy' industrial design,
9) more aerodynamic in high winds....
And that's just the start of the list.
And yes, we certainly acknowledge the VP2 is a fine (albeit dated) station.
