Can someone explain the situation in a short story? What will the following week bring uss? (Belgium / France). We're expecting cold temperatures in Belgium. Around -5 / -12°C in the nightperiod and around 0/1°C at daytime. Snow is only forecasted for tuesday / wednesdag. What do you guy's think? Cheers Weatherservice

It's so complicated.. damn. In Belgium we don't expect any snow before tuesday. A few day's ago we were expecting snow sundaynight but now? .. We have to waite untill wednesday when the massive cold air invades Belgium and the Netherlands. For France i don't know actually.. I don't trust GFS anymore.. Check the fresh plume of The Netherlands ! This is amazing. But yea it's dangerous too look so far in the future..

Thanks for the short and clear answer. It was easy to understand! I don't have any confidence in GFS anymore, the longterm forecasts are always extreme but when it really has to happen GFS always get with a softer solution.. What forecastmodel you guy's prefer? GFS / ECMWF / DWD ?

Hehe damn yea it's hard to follow but i'm studying for teacher for the lower grade (kids) and there i have to use some french. But i have to say that your images help me alot. Infoclimat is just - so too the point- and i just want to say something on this topic but in french i'm not skilled enough. Because i can't speak proper french i'm going to talk some english. I'd like infoclimat because it has a great ammount of information. About the wintery situation i'd like to say 'it's amazing'. GFS / DWD are all inline with cold air advection from the nord-east. Because the modells are inline for almost a week i sure have some confidence in a nice setup.
